The Opportunity
The Greater China General Counsel Office (GCO) is dedicated to providing proactive and quality legal support to EY Greater China services. The General Counsel Office is instrumental in delivering these commitments through hands-on, technical legal work, involvement with internal clients and management and leadership qualities. This role is exercised in a manner that exemplifies the EY values at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Legal Counsels within the General Counsel Office (GCO), by performing a wide variety of administrative tasks, various document / email preparation, invoicing, cost tracking, and providing necessary assistance to the Legal Counsels.
In this role, you’ll receive regular direction from the appropriate Legal Counsel and your work will be assigned by the Legal Counsels and /or other GCO team members.

Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to our Partner and Directors of GCO, liaising with other departments and handling correspondences
- Provide daily work support for the Managers and Senior Managers, including meeting arrangement, travel arrangement
- Help execute various internal protocols
- Help organizing signing of internal documents
- Provide coordination support for some programs or systems
- Arranging invoice payments, tracking and reports
Requirements
- Diploma holder or above with formal secretarial training
- At least 3 – 5 years’ relevant working experience in similar role
- Hands on PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage
- Some financial knowledge will be an advantage and willing to learn if not proficient
- Independent, detail-minded and well-organized
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
