Discover your exciting role
As Director Labour Law (m/f/d) at Exyte, you will shape the interface between labour law, co-determination and corporate development. You will act as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders, works councils and external law firms. You will always act on an equal footing, solution-oriented and strategically forward-looking in order to develop sustainable and forward-looking solutions.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for labor and co-determination law topics at national and international level
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners on contractual, development, and structural HR matters
- Negotiate and implement works agreements in close, constructive cooperation with employee representatives
- Support M&A and transformation projects with legal expertise, especially during integration and organizational change
- Monitor and assess changes in national and EU labour laws, identify potential impacts on the organization, and proactively initiate relevant initiatives.
- Coordinate with external law firms and represent the company in labor court proceedings
Show your expertise
- Fully qualified lawyer with two successfully completed state examinations and sound knowledge of individual and collective employment law.
- Several years of professional experience in an in-house legal or labor relations role – or in a law firm specialized in labor/employment law
- Proven experience in working with works councils and handling collective labor law matters
- Familiarity with labor law aspects of M&A or organizational restructuring projects
- Business fluent in both German and English – confident in both written and spoken communication
