The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, seeks an academic or highly qualified lecture to teach “Survey of Planning Law Principles ” during the spring 2025 semester. The course is offered by the Urban Planning and Policy Development graduate program. The course is usually conducted in-person in New Brunswick. For spring 2025, we are open to a virtual or hybrid teaching modality, and there is some flexibility on course day/time.

Minimum Education and Experience
Candidates should hold a law degree and have professional experience in urban planning.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThe instructor should have in-depth knowledge of planning law and be prepared to teach the course in a way that prepares students to take the AICP certification exam in the future.
